Achillea clavenae

Farrer writes in The English Rock Garden that this is “....a beautiful species, forming wide tufts of .... irregularly lobed leaves, which are hoary white with down, while high above them rise the six inch stems carrying clear white flowers of fair size in a loose head.” It grows well here in a sunny spot without too much extra irrigation.15cm x 30cm.
