Found wild in Spain, Portugal, Corsica, Sardinia and North Africa this precious little bulb has thrived here at Lambley in a rough overgrown paddock for 18 years. Each autumn I have large drifts of these white fairy bells hanging on thin 15cm tall stems. A well drained spot in the sun which gets a fair baking in the summer suits it. Plant from 5 to 10 centimetres apart and this bulb will soon build up its numbers.
