A tall sturdy perennial with stiff one metre tall stems carrying many white star flowers with a faint brown line on each petal. It can be evergreen but in the dry garden here at Lambley it usually dies down to the ground during summer. Growth begins again in early winter. A native of southern Europe and North Africa it is happy in any sunny well drained spot and is drought tolerant once established. 100cm x 30cm.
