Ceanothus proved themselves this last summer, flourishing in the toughest conditions. They’ve done well at Lambley with minimum watering even when planted on the hottest banks. Ceanothus ‘Blue Cushion’ has “...abundant pale blue flowers in button-like clusters from late winter until mid-spring.” Arching stems well dressed with small, dark glossy evergreen serrated leaves form a dense ground cover some 90cm tall by 200cm across.
