Crocus
Crocus
All the crocus we list in this catalogue flourish here at Lambley and are happy for a summer baking as these beautiful bulbs (with a few exceptions) inhabit summer dry places in the wild. Crocus grow, flower and seed during autumn, winter and early spring. By late spring they are resting safely below ground. This habit fits in well with our dry garden as most of the perennials are cut to the ground by May and aren’t in full stride again until the crocus have finished their growth cycle. I’ve broken the list into two groups. The autumn flowering species and the late winter and early spring flowerers.
