Found wild in the Eastern Cape area of South Africa where it grows in hot dry bare places, amongst rocks and low grass. It can cope with heat, drought and frost as long as it is planted in an open sunny spot. Glistening mats of silver leaves produce yellow everlasting daisies from late summer well into the autumn. I first bought this plant over 35 years ago from Woodbank Nursery which is now sadly closed. 20cm x40cm.
