One of the best of all, “Queen of Crepe Myrtles”, L. ‘Natchez’ can be trained into a single trunked tree, 8 metres tall with a canopy 6 metres across, or grown as a multi stemmed shrub as we do at Lambley where it shades the western side of a bay window in my wife Criss Canning’s studio. Huge sprays of white flowers are produced from January to April. The autumn leaves are buttery yellow with some red tints.
