You don’t usually think of lilies as being drought tolerant and most of them aren’t. Even the tough old Tiger Lilies need regular summer watering here. These seedlings grow happily with minimum supplementary watering. Two metres tall, strong, stiff self supporting stems carry up to 20 large creamy lemon or creamy white, claret backed trumpets during January and February.
