One of the grandest bulbs growing at Lambley looking for all the world like a sky blue fox tail lily. Sadly the second rate Scilla hyacinthoides has been sold as this by some nurseries. Merwilla is easy to grow as long as it gets a little extra irrigation during dry periods. It does best here in the vegetable garden although it grew well in the dry garden for many years. Plant in full sun with the neck of the bulb above ground. Limit one per order.
