This hoop petticoat daffodil is most often found growing in acid soils in the mountains of Spain, Portugal and Morocco. It has a long late winter flowering period here at Lambley when its cheery bright yellow blooms lift even the most jaded spirits. It will grow happily in both dry and watered spots in the garden, although I only grow it dry, and it soon increases into good sized clumps. 15cm x10cm.
