Penstemon ‘Blue Midnight’ has a glossy light reflecting surface to its dark violet purple flowers which makes for a very telling effect when combined with lime green flowers such as summer flowering Euphorbia or Nicotiana. As with all of the shrubby penstemon we give them a light trim and tidy up during winter and then after the new spring growth has reached about 30cm we cut all of the previous years wood down to the ground. 60cm x 50cm.
