Quercus canariensis - Algerian OakThis native of Spain and North Africa has been widely planted in Australia in the past. It makes a large semi evergreen or deciduous oak suitable for large gardens and parks only. A plant in the South Australian Waite Arboretum has made a height of 16 metres with a similar spread in 75 years. Once established this fine tree needs little if any supplementary water. |
