Watsonia aletroides

This tough drought tolerant bulb makes a splendid show in the dry garden during late spring and early summer. Long coral-red, tubular bells are well spaced on strong stiff branching stems. A single bulb should make a good clump in just a few years. Watsonia aletroides fills the gap between earlier flowering bulbs and summer flowering perennials. 80cm x 50cm. Any sunny, summer-dry spot will suit.

Available again in our Bulb Catalogue, early 2011.
