Allium karataviense

This native of Central Asia would be grown for its 10 cm wide pleated leaves alone but when the ball of purplish pink flowers nestle into the foliage during mid to late spring it’s a show stopper. This Allium needs a well drained sunny spot in the garden and a spacing of about 30cm. 15 to 20cm in height.
