Elymus magellanicus

Blue Wheat Grass is the bluest of all blue grasses. It makes a 50 cm tall by 60cm across tussock of powder blue leaves. Whilst it is evergreen I cut it back to 15 cm during winter. It is native to the mountains of Chile and Argentina. It gets watered here about once a fortnight during the hotter months. It isn’t suited to sub tropical climates and needs good drainage in a sunny spot.
